Kwik Kar Marsh held its “Hood” Raiders car clinic for a group of fifteen, fifteen year old girls from the National Charity League (NCL) of Dallas, Texas on February 20, 2022. The “Hood” Raiders automotive maintenance clinic is an immersive, hands-on, educational class that introduces young adults and older to the basics of car maintenance.
“Hosting a private “Hood” Raiders car clinic for these young ladies, all soon to be drivers, was a perfect fit. Our goal is to educate and empower all drivers with basic car maintenance skills so that when they take their vehicle for maintenance or repairs, they know what to look out for with respect to their cars. Let’s face it, none of us like to get our car serviced or repaired,” said Corrine Hudson, Owner of Kwik Kar Marsh and Founder of “Hood” Raiders.
After searching for a car instructor or car clinic in the Dallas area to educate a group of fifteen year old girls about car maintenance, Catherine Traylor from National Charity League Dallas stumbled upon Kwik Kar Marsh’s “Hood” Raiders class. “Knowing the right questions to ask when something goes wrong with your vehicle is a big help. Being more familiar with your car, how it works and some common issues make for a more transparent process at a car repair shop and takes some of the stress out of car maintenance. Kwik Kar Marsh did an amazing job leading the class and educating these soon-to-be drivers!” said Traylor.
Here are some photos taken of the “Hood” Raiders car clinic for NCL on February 20, 2022. Ms. Taylor and a few other moms got to experience the class with the girls and were pleasantly surprised. “This is such a great class and we hope all new members will attend the class next year,” said Ms. Traylor.
