Kwik Kar on Marsh at Belt Line is an Official Vehicle State Inspection Service Station for the State of Texas. All vehicles are required to receive an annual inspection. Effective January 1, 2025, the State of Texas no longer requires a safety inspection. However, vehicles are required to have an emissions test in major metropolitan areas, including Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris and Montgomery counties; Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall and Tarrant counties and a few others. Diesel powered vehicles and motorcycles are exempt from the emissions standards.
